Justin Crocker joins WFFDD - 04/16/12
We are so please to announce the addition of Justin Crocker as a member of the White Fields Foundation team in the Dominican Republic. While Justin has been working in the DR for several years, it was only recently that God began to make clear his calling. Justin will be responsible for many things, including strategic planning and coordination for the ministries that are ongoing in the DR. this includes coordination of discipleship programs, connections with both Dominican and US churches, and strategic planning for long-term ministry in every village in the scope of WFFDD. We are so thankful to God for Justin and ask you to pray for him, his wife and his new baby which is due this fall!
Justin is not yet fully supported, so if you have a desire to help him in ministry, please contact us.
The classes have started! - 01/17/12
We are so excited to have had the first day of training for the men that God has called to the “White Fields” of the Dominican Republic. The three American Pastors did an excellent job yesterday introducing the program and getting to know the men, the culture and the work here.
The students took copious notes and really engaged in the morning classes. Our discussion centered on our personal relationship with Jesus as the most important part of ministry – and how that is often lost in the business of the work at hand. How we can ALL relate to that! In the afternoon, we have a lively review and discussion, especially relating to loving our wives – one man asked the question: “How do I do that?”. His humility was so beautiful, and we had a good hour of examples from men who really have good examples of godly marriages. I wish all of the WFF men could have heard the discussion! More to come…thank you for your prayers and support of this ministry.
Yes, Virginia, there IS a Santa Clause… - 01/04/12
The team of missionaries got together to deliver what might be the first ever Christmas presents for seventy of the poorest of the poor. Led by Pastor Ney, the team assembled packages of rice, salami other food and a Christmas gift.

Then, on Christmas Eve, they set out to the various villages – and prayed that these gifts would be a tangible demonstration to the love of Jesus.

They delivered the packages one by one to each home – telling the people of God’s love and His gift of Jesus Christ.

Ney told me later: “You cannot imagine the impact that these gifts made.” When we tell people of the love of Jesus and then demonstrate that love – we become the hands and feet of Jesus. The Apostle John reminds us: “Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. “ THANK YOU to all who made these gifts possible!
The Center is finished! - 11/03/11
We thank God for the great blessing of this facility – and for our missionary Luis, who was the general contractor and did an excellent job! All we need now are beds and furniture and we’ll be ready for our first session in January. Ney reports that many have watched the construction and have inquired about the ministry – God is already using this building to draw people to Christ!
Construction for Training Center Nears Completion - 10/07/11
It’s hard to believe that just a few years ago, God placed this vision in our hearts. Last year, we were able to provide Ney with a home base for ministry, and because of the generosity of many, we have now added a 10 bed training floor on top of Ney’s house! This will enable the men who live in the various villages to come and stay during training sessions. We are so thankful to God for this building!

First Training Week to Take Place in January -
White Fields Foundation will host it’s first ever, week long training session for the native missionaries on January 14-21, 2012. We are so blessed to have three excellent teaching pastors who are giving a week out of their busy schedule to give much-needed training to our young missionaries. They will hold classes on Preaching and teaching, church history, pastoral ministry and maintining a vibrant walk with Christ. With a whole week to spend and a 2:1 ratio, we have high hopes for this week!
